Crawford International Lonehill celebrate their Class of 2022 matric results
The school boasted a number of outstanding results, with their top three learners obtaining a combined total of 26 distinctions.
Matriculants of Crawford International Lonehill gathered in the school hall with loved ones to receive their results and enjoy a high tea.
The top performing learner at the school was Caitanya Moodley who achieved an overall average of 94.46%. She earned distinctions in accounting, English, Afrikaans, further studies maths, life sciences, life orientation, maths, and physical sciences.
Upon receiving her results, she felt incredibly proud.
“I’m beyond excited, very happy and relieved. It’s so special, these last few moments of such an important chapter of my life. So it is a big relief,” she said.
Moodley said she would attend the University of Pretoria to study actuarial sciences where she had been provisionally accepted.
Managing director of Crawford International South Africa, Dr Siza Majola expressed her immense pride in the Crawford Lonehill matriculants for their results, as well as their parents and staff members for providing the necessary support for the learners.
“We are very excited about the achievements of our children. I think they’ve worked very hard, and remember that this cohort had a lot of challenges. When we went into lockdown, they were starting their Grade 10 where that foundation is so critical of what they have achieved today,” she said.
