VOX POPS: How are you feeling about completing matric and starting a new life journey?

Fourways High School matrics chat more about their feelings towards their new lives now that they have completed high school.

The matric Class of 2022 of Fourways High School was among many learners in the country who received their final results.

Most matriculants will be looking to head to university, some are planning to take a gap year and many other ventures that await.

The Fourways Review checked in with the matriculants to find out how they were feeling about their new journey after high school.

Here’s what they had to say…

BOHLOKWA NHIDZA: I feel a bit anxious, but it’s not that overwhelming. I have my stuff prepared and everything laid out for me. I’m very lucky to have an opportunity like this, so we’ll see.
ISABELLA SPENCE: I’m very excited. I was quite nervous about my marks, but I’m happy with them. I’m going to be an au pair in the United States so that’s exciting.
KHANYISILE MATHEWS: I’m scared. I’m scared, because I’m not really sure what I’m going to do next. But I think I have some sort of idea, so I think that’s a good thing.
ZOLWANDE MATHE: It’s quite overwhelming. What’s helping me is taking things one step at a time instead of this big milestone to now conquer. I’m trying to be 1% better than I was yesterday and learn something new every day.
