Match Padel crowns Double Trouble League champions
The Double Trouble Leagues thrilling finale saw the top teams from seven divisions battle it out for the championship titles at Match Padel, Fourways.

The Double Trouble League came to a close on July 14 at Match Padel, Fourways, with an electrifying finale that drew a crowd of more than 120 enthusiastic spectators.

The top teams from seven divisions clashed on courts 1, 2, and centre court, showcasing their skills, determination, and sportsmanship on a day filled with excitement and drama.

Each match was fiercely contested, with players delivering spectacular performances throughout the day. The finals featured live commentary, music, and a vibrant atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience for both players and spectators. To keep energy levels high, delicious pizzas were on sale, and a pop-up bar was available to attendees.

Peta-Ann Lord, the organiser of the Double Trouble League, expressed her excitement after the season. “This season has been phenomenal, with incredible matches and unforgettable moments. The dedication and enthusiasm of our players and supporters has made this league special. We are grateful to our sponsors for their unwavering support.”

As the Double Trouble League celebrates the success of this season, plans are already underway for the next season, which is set to kick off on July 22. With more thrilling matches and community engagement on the horizon, fans can look forward to another action-packed season.

• Division 6: Lenn Honey & Paulo Nunes (Team Waterpolo).
• Division 7: James Williams and Jason Bajner (Shake & Bake).
