Broadacres Academy makes history with first Grade 12 class
After making history, the school will be riding on the wave of celebrating top achievers this year.

The Class of 2025 at Broadacres Academy is making history as the school’s first Grade 12s. There are only 18 learners and they will always be remembered as the pioneers who paved the way for future generations.

The head of the high school Vashni Chetty said the decision to introduce a Grade 12 class at Broadacres Academy was inspired by a commitment to providing a comprehensive education that culminates in the learners achieving a qualification that allowed them to be fully prepared for higher education and future careers.

“To ensure a smooth transition for the inaugural matric class, the school has implemented orientation programmes and academic support services. This includes access to tutoring and regular check-ins to monitor student progress and well-being,” she added.
“These initiatives will enhance their educational experience by promoting critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world application of learned skills. The school envisions the inaugural matric class as role models who will help shape a positive school culture and legacy. The guiding values for their journey will include integrity, respect, service to the community and a commitment to excellence, encouraging them to inspire future cohorts.”
