NGI Fourways Pictures This at community creativity event

NewBridge Graduate Institute's Fourways campus buzzed with energy during its inaugural social event, Picture This.

NewBridge Graduate Institute’s (NGI) Fourways campus came to life this past weekend with a vibrant celebration of arts, culture, and student connection at its first official campus social: Picture This.

The event brought together students, staff, and members of the local community for an evening filled with colour, creativity, and shared experience.

Hosted on-site at Cedar Square, the evening featured pop-up art exhibits along campus walls, live music, poetry slams, and short theatre performances in the new lecture venues.

Students mingled in the newly unveiled common areas, sampled local cuisine, snapped selfies in curated art corners, and explored interactive installations created by fellow students. The event concluded with a well-received open mic session that showcased the diverse talents of the NGI community.

“Picture This was a celebration of the energy, creativity, and spirit we want to cultivate at NGI Fourways. It was a glimpse into the kind of community we are building – one where students feel inspired, connected, and ready to collaborate,” said Cisna Botes, principal of NGI Fourways.

The event encapsulated NGI Fourways’ values: Fostering community, encouraging creativity, and creating a motivating environment where students can grow, both academically and personally.
