“Our learners continued to make their mark across academics, the arts, and innovation. The public speaking team achieved remarkable success this year, with our high school division ranking 9th out of more than 100 schools in the South African Speech and Drama League. Their results, often A++, reflect a culture of confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking that defines Pinnacle students.”

In the world of innovation, the robotics team, coached by Kelsay Kerwin and Kohen Pillay, impressed once again, winning two out of two competitions this year, showing that creativity and problem-solving are thriving on campus.
Dawson also added that the Grade 3s went undefeated at the Inter-Pinnacle Tournament, hosted by Pinnacle College Raslouw, securing the title of U9 Inter-Pinnacle Champions for 2025 under coach Joseph Washaya. The U9 and U11 cricket teams were equally unstoppable in the Johannesburg Far North Cricket League, finishing 7th out of 28 and 10th out of 33 schools respectively, coached by Herold Vincent.

“It was a year of celebration and connection. We marked our 5th birthday with a vibrant fun day, showcased incredible talent in our musical showcase, featuring performers from age five to 50, and hosted our very first Mr and Ms Waterfall, where Thandeka Zulu and Darius Tinka took the inaugural titles. Our market days, led by grades 3, 7, 8, and 9, were a highlight of the school calendar, combining entrepreneurship and empathy, with all proceeds donated to the New Jerusalem School.”

Dawson shared that community outreach remains a cornerstone of life at Pinnacle College Waterfall. This year, over 250kg of dry food, blankets, pet food, and essential items were donated to various charities and institutions throughout the year. “As we look ahead, new classrooms and upgraded sports facilities are under construction, ensuring that our growing school continues to provide the very best spaces for learning and play. We’ve also been delighted to welcome new teachers and students into the Pinnacle family, each adding to the energy and spirit that make our community so special.
“Looking to 2026, we remain guided by our four principles: To be punctual, prepared, polite, and persistent, and dedicated to ensuring that every learner continues to thrive in 2026.
“From all of us at Pinnacle College Waterfall, we wish our community a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. May the season bring light, laughter, and love to every home.”
