Crawford International Fourways splashes into victory at swimming gala
There was crowd-pleasing fun, record-breaking swims, and outstanding sportsmanship at Crawford International Fourways' interhouse swimming gala.

Crawford International Fourways was alive with excitement on January 28, as the annual interhouse swimming gala unfolded, showcasing the talents and enthusiasm of students from Grade 2 to Grade 7.
The highly anticipated event saw swimmers competing fiercely for their respective houses: Ladson, Cameron, and Barrett.
The atmosphere was electric as learners demonstrated remarkable sportsmanship and fierce determination in each race.

The competition brought out the best in the young athletes, many of whom pushed their limits and set new records throughout the day.
A standout moment from the gala was the fun race featuring Grade 2 and Grade 3 swimmers.
With beaming smiles, the young participants tackled the challenge of swimming the length of the pool using noodles, adding a lighthearted and joyous element to the proceedings.

Their excitement was met with enthusiastic cheers from teachers, parents, and classmates, creating a heartwarming scene of community support.
Cathy Haigh, the school’s sports co-ordinator, said: “The interhouse swimming gala truly embodies the spirit of Crawford International Fourways. It is inspiring to see the students not only excel in their swimming abilities but also celebrate each other’s efforts in such a spirited manner.
