Eskom plans to leave Sunninghill residents in darkness for 9 hours

Eskom has apologised for any inconvenience caused after announcing their planned power outage in Sunninghill.

Eskom has announced a planned electricity supply interruption in Sunninghill on Friday, February 28, as part of its ongoing maintenance efforts.

The power outage is scheduled to take place while Eskom conducts essential maintenance work on the distribution electricity network in the area.

“The outage will affect customers from 08:30 to 18:00. The interruption in electricity supply is necessary to perform essential maintenance on our distribution power lines,” said Eskom.

The power utility has advised residents to treat all electrical appliances as live at all times during the power supply outage for safety reasons.

“We would like to thank you for your cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by the maintenance.”
