Fourways Junior College young entrepreneurs make a profit while having fun

The Grade 0 Market Day at Fourways Junior College showcased the entrepreneurial spirit of the youngest learners while learning valuable life lessons through play.

Fourways Junior College Grade 0 Market Day was a resounding success, transforming the playground into a bustling marketplace filled with laughter and learning.

Children enthusiastically showcased their stalls, offering an array of delightful treats including doughnut kebabs, popcorn, sweetie packs, stickers, and colourful bracelets. There truly was something for everyone to enjoy.

The little shopkeepers dazzled their peers and parents alike, proudly explaining their products while demonstrating teamwork and sharing. With bright smiles all around, these young entrepreneurs practised essential social skills, including taking turns and using polite manners.

Principal Bianca Durrant said that the market day was not just about fun; it served as an invaluable platform for their six-year-olds to grasp important life skills.
