A morning of memories at Curro Fourways

Grandparents were the guests of honour at Curro Fourways, where a joyful morning picnic celebrated family bonds, love, and heritage.

Curro Fourways opened its gates to welcome some very special guests… Grandparents.

The occasion was marked with a morning picnic, where blankets were spread, stories were shared, and laughter echoed across the school grounds.

Adding to the joy, the children treated their grandparents to heartfelt singing performances. Each song was a gift, reflecting not only their growing confidence but also the deep love they hold for their families.

Grandparents’ day was more than just a celebration; it was a reminder of the invaluable role grandparents play in a child’s life. They are storytellers, role models, and a source of steady support.

“Grandparents are an irreplaceable part of our learners’ lives,” said Busi Zibi, marketing officer at Curro Fourways.

She added that, at Curro Fourways, nurturing young minds goes hand in hand with strengthening the connections that help them flourish.
