Four suspects arrested after R5m warehouse robbery in Fourways
Swift response by police and private security disrupts armed gang in Fourways business robbery
Four suspects have been arrested following a business robbery at a warehouse in Fourways this morning, April 25.
Douglasdale Station Commander Brigadier Veeshani Arikum said a group of about 14 to 15 suspects, armed with firearms, stormed the premises and robbed the business of cameras, drones, and cellphones with an estimated value of about R5m.

“Police responded to a business robbery in progress, and a coordinated effort between SAPS and a private security company led to the swift arrest of four suspects.”
The other suspects managed to flee the crime scene.

Arikum added that during the operation, officers recovered four firearms and ammunition believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
Two Toyota Hilux vehicles, allegedly used by the suspects, were also seized.

The four suspects are expected to appear in court soon on charges of business robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
