Thank you, for a helping hand

OPINION: Thank you, our 'guardian angels'.

Mid October my family and I received some distressing news that brought us to our knees.

Our daughter was diagnosed with an incurable illness. We were told medication was the only way to slow the progression of the disease.

To add to our stress, my husband fell ill and a week later ended up in hospital in a critical condition.

Just when I thought I couldn’t go on any longer, wonderful moms Janine, Lee, Revé and their families took us under their wings, bringing us meals fit for kings and spoiled my children with gifts and treats.

I would like to thank these angels of mercy for their kindness and love, we really needed it and it was so appreciated. I would also like to thank Gill, the teachers and head of Sunninghill Park nursery school for their love and support. We couldn’t do this without you.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
