I would like to thank Douglasdale Police Station for their outstanding service.
On 4 December we had an armed robbery at our house in Lonehill.
The robbers fled at about 4.30am. I phoned 10111 as soon as I could. Within 10 minutes there were three policemen at my door. They were very professional and also
sympathetic while they took our statements.
After a while even the brigadier showed up and one of the constable’s phoned the next day to find out how we were doing. Constable Thabo Selekedi took over the
investigation and kept us up to date with a daily report.
We are still kept up to date, even if there is nothing new to report. Just shows you there are still a lot of policemen that really care.
