Club champs celebrated
STEYN CITY – Avid golfers recently competed in three different divisions at the Steyn City Club Championship Tournament.
The Club at Steyn City recently hosted its second Club Championship Tournament and launched their winter golf initiative to thrill avid golfers.
There was a festive atmosphere during the second Club Championships Tournament with golfers’ friends and family members making the most of the late autumn sunshine by gathering on The Club’s terrace.
Any golfer who scores a hole-in-one on Wednesdays will receive a R100 000 cash prize from Steyn City.
Kevin Eden, golf operations manager at Steyn City said, “The Club is gaining more and more attention as golf emerges as the game of choice during pandemic time because it easily allows for social distancing in the fresh air. The hole-in-one challenge will run during the winter months of June, July and August and the competition fee is included in the green fees, he added.
