The weekend of September 11 and 12 had a number of events in the Fourways area. Fourways Review headed to a few weekend events in the area. Here are some highlights of the two days.

Saturday, September 11

Bryanston High School hosted their first ever Prestige Hockey Festival and saw eight boys’ and girls’ teams take part in the tournament to win various prizes.
Sports director Wian van Wyk and hockey director at the school Lorenzo Thomson said the day’s events were a success as Bryandale Primary School won the boys’ competition, and Bryanston Parallel Medium Griffins won the girls’ competition.

Sunday, September 12

Congratulations to the Beaulieu Hockey Academy men’s premier side for their dominant performance in the SGHA (Southern Gauteng Hockey Association) outdoor league. They beat a strong Old Edwardians side 4–2 in the second round of the league.
Beaulieu is currently second on the log, three points behind Wanderers, and plays a match against Shumbas on September 19.
