The Glory of Torture

Tebatso ‘The Glory of Torture’ Molele says he is locked in and fully prepared as he counts down to his clash with Sisa Jungula at EFC 137.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Tebatso ‘The Glory of Torture’ Molele, who trains at Mamelodi Warriors, spoke about the challenges that await him and the work that has gone into preparing for the bout.

“I am training hard every single day, and I am ready. Jungula is a tough, dangerous fighter who brings pressure and will not make it easy. I respect him, but I have prepared for everything he can throw at me. When that cage door closes, I will be ready to go out there and impose my will.”

Molele was clear that the camp has been one of the most focused of his career. “The work has been put in. We have sharpened the striking, tightened the defence, and built the cardio needed for three hard rounds. I feel sharp, both mentally and physically. This is the kind of fight that can open bigger doors, and I am not taking any shortcuts.”

He reserved special praise for the man guiding him through the preparation. “I want to thank my coach Moses Manaka for the opportunity and for believing in me. He has pushed me harder than ever, corrected every small mistake, and given me the structure I need. Without him, this camp would not have been the same. He has me ready for Jungula and for whatever comes next.”

The fighter also highlighted the support that has allowed him to focus fully on the fight. “A big thank you goes to my sponsor Human Been. Their backing has meant I can concentrate on training and recovery without extra stress. Sponsorship makes a real difference for fighters at this level, and I am grateful every day.”

Looking ahead, Molele issued a strong call for more local businesses to get involved. “I want to appeal to new sponsors to join us. South African MMA is growing fast, and fighters need partners who believe in the sport and in the athletes. If you are looking for a way to support talent and put your brand in front of passionate fans, this is the time to come on board.”

Molele’s recent form has shown the resilience local fans have come to expect. He has used every session to refine his game and arrive at EFC 137 in peak condition. Those close to the camp say the atmosphere remains intense but purposeful under Manaka’s guidance.

As fight night approaches, the message from The Glory of Torture is straightforward. “The preparation is complete, the respect for Jungula is real, and I am ready to step into the cage and deliver.”
