Over 100 teams join Double Trouble Leagues Season 9

Double Trouble Leagues welcomes back Season 9 of pedal league with the exciting new partnership.

Season 9 of the Double Trouble Leagues (DTL) at Match Pedal Fourways is officially underway, and this year promises to be one of the most memorable yet.

According to Peta-Ann Lords, the organiser of DTL, the season got off to an incredible start, with a record-breaking 101 teams signing up to challenge their skills on the court.

Lords also announces a groundbreaking partnership between DTL and the sports brand, Babolat. This collaboration marks a new chapter in the league’s vibrant history and is set to elevate the padel experience for all involved.

She also expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership. “This partnership is a testament to the incredible growth of DTL, the dedication of our players, and the vibrant community that we have built together. With Babolat by our side, we are elevating the DTL experience for every player and taking our league to new horizons.”

The league continues to be a melting pot of talent and enthusiasm, welcoming men and women of all skill levels from absolute beginners to what some might call ‘the crème de la crème’ of padel players.

“DTL prides itself on being a fully inclusive league, welcoming newcomers eager to learn and seasoned teams eager to defend their titles.”

Lords acknowledged setbacks caused by recent rain delays, but the DTL community remained undeterred.
