A festive finale for family and friends

DAINFERN – Country Readiness School celebrated their final family event of the year.

In the final family event of the year, Country Readiness School team situated within Dainfern College created a magical evening for both children and parents.

Welcomed by beautiful decorations, two smiling snowmen, a sprinkling of African snow and twinkling Christmas lights, guests settled down on picnic blankets and relaxed under the summer sky.

After weeks of preparation, the children of the bunny, duck and chicken group came together in their red and white festive hats and sang their hearts out.

The buzz of excitement from the children lifted guests’ spirits, as numerous cameras recorded the special moments. The repertoire included classics such as Away in a Manger and the hilarious He got Stuck, and one could not help but love the dramatic actions performed by the children and teachers in every song.

After the performance, the bell sounded and with much anticipation, Father Christmas made his special appearance. Children received their gifts as the sun set – their very own torch and luminous glow sticks.

Festivities continued as adults chatted, music played and the children frolicked through the now dark playground.
