Diepsloot music artist on a mission to keep Khelobedu music genre alive

RIVERSANDS– Motlatso promised her music fans a hot Extended Play (EP) with seven tracks in February next year.

Local music artist, songwriter, vocalist and self-acclaimed queen of amapiano, Rams Motlatso recently released her hit single Modhodone.

For the track, Motlatso teamed up with well-known South African house music artist, Aubrey Lebese also known as DJ Call Me, and amapiano music artist Mkoma Saan.

“I’ve been in the music industry for some time now and I have grown to a point of understanding what local music lovers want. I started my music journey singing in a community choir when I was still very young. This single is my offering to all music lovers for this festive season. I want people to enjoy themselves this festive season following a depressing one last year due to lockdown restrictions,” she said.

Motlatso promised her music fans a ‘hot’ extended play (EP) with seven tracks in February next year.

“Every time I make a song, I feel the need to keep the Balobedu music taste and sound alive by modernising it and keeping it trending. Modhodone has that sound that takes you to the streets of Limpopo. I will drop my EP in February, the month of love, simply because I believe in love and keeping people entertained. It will be available on all digital music platforms for downloads.”
