“We are facing the challenge of substance abuse in our precinct and we will carry on arresting all lawbreakers in our area,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Police believe that the continued substance abuse contributes to cases of domestic violence, rape, unnecessary assaults and even robberies in the area.

The suspects will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
