Musicians set to go gospel

The Soil will be part of the line-up at the Gospel in Me Concert, at Gold Reef City’s Lyric Theatre, on March 11.

The Lyric, at Gold Reef City, is set to host the relaunch of the Gospel In Me Concert, on March 11.

Following two previous concerts held in 2012 and 2013, the much anticipated show is back by popular demand.

The Gospel In Me Concert aims to unleash the sacred side of South Africa’s leading Afro-jazz/soul and pop singers who chose not to pursue a career in gospel.

This year’s line-up boasts a selection of diverse and powerful artists and people you would never associate with gospel music, including the likes of The Soil, Tribute Birdie Mboweni, Zikhona Sodlaka, Beyond Vocal, Jobie Clarke, Weza and Chris Mapane

Doors open at 7pm and the show is set to start at 7.30pm.
