Gauteng’s daring sporting talent showcased at OR Tambo Socini Games
The second edition of the annual OR Tambo Soncini Social Cohesion Games in Germiston came to a closing with Gauteng’s young talent scooping awards in the various sporting activities.

Representing Gauteng School Sport in the girls’ u-15 400m Wendy Shongwe was a crowd favourite.
Minyanne Schutte took the lead in the girls’ u-14 400m, representing the City of Johannesburg.
Soccer was among the sporting codes supported by spectators from across the province at Germiston Stadium where the OR Tambo Soncini Social Cohesion Games took place.
Andzani Nkuna, for team Ekurhuleni, set the bar high for herself in the girls’ u-14 long jump.
Kiarah Gouws who plays for Luso Africa was chosen at the Gauteng Trials to play in the OR Tambo Soncini Social Cohesion Games that were held last weekend at Germiston Stadium. She played for the Ekurhuleni team which was placed third in the girls’ football division.
