Meet the up-and-coming businesswomen of Kathorus
Specialising in shoes, shades, bags, dresses, hairstyling and weaves.
Kathorus businesswomen gathered on Saturday, August 27, at Ke-ditsilane multicultural village to share ideas on to how to run their businesses.
The organiser of the event Mbali Dlamini was very excited to bring businesswomen under one roof.
“I am very excited but at the same time I am very disappointed because there are more women who promised to be here today but did not turn up. I was expecting at least 17 exhibitors but only eight turned up,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini said the aim of the event was to empower, uplift, inspire and teach women how to register their business.
“I have organised people who are going to help these businesswomen with their budgets, how to use their profit and where to get funding. I also have women who are going to share their success stories.
“I drove around the Kathorus area looking for businesswomen I can help just because I wanted to fulfil my calling and hunger to help. And on top of that I funded the event from my own pocket,” said Dlamini.

Specialising in jewellery, such as rings for males and females, wedding bands, costume jewellery and necklaces.
Jewellery prices range from R500 to R100 000 depending on the number, type and sizes of diamonds used.
· Naledi Lee Hair and Beauty Salon
Specialising in hairstyling, bonding, weaves, nails, pedicures, manicures, full colouring nails, stilettos, coffins and eyelashes.

Specialising in health products such as aloe vera gel, tooth-brightening gel, and aloe vera jelly (skincare product)

Specialising in beauty and bath products and bedroom accessories. They also do bridal and baby showers.

Specialising in shoes, shades, bags, dresses, hairstyling and weaves.
Contact Zandile Skhosana on 076 215 2349 and Phetile Skhosana on 073 8106 156. Based in Pretoria but delivers all over the country. Prices range from R1 200 (shades) up to R2 800 (weaves) depending on the inches.
