Pupils from Primrose Junior Primary School spent their 67 minutes on Mandela Day by starting a new garden for their school.
Primrose Junior Primary School’s Grade Two teacher, Elize Fourie and the school’s general assistant, Bella Moloi, enjoyed Mandela Day with the pupils.
“It is a great day for me too today because it is also my birthday,” said Elize.
Deputy principal Rosemary Maluleke joined the pupils in song and dance.
