A 25-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
The police were patrolling in Sector Three, when they received a call about a vehicle at the corner of Churchill Avenue and Poppy Road.
A white Hyundai truck, which had been stolen outside the Edenvale Police Station, had been discovered.
“Upon questioning, the suspect could not give the police a clear explanation about the ownership of the vehicle,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.
“The man was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and the case was transferred to the Edenvale SAPS.”
