A local resident, Jane Mokoena, held a fun day for the less fortunate children in the community, at the Rondebult Shopping Centre, in Germiston, recently.
“The aim was to raise funds for them, provide them with toiletries, groceries and, most importantly, learning material,” said Jane.
“I want to expose these kids to the countless opportunities that they can get and I want them to learn to love reading in general.”
