Over the past week,the Primrose SAPS arrested 79 people for various crimes.
SAPS members took to the streets and arrested people for crimes including assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, drunk and driving, soliciting/importuning for the purpose of sexual immorality, possession of dagga, possession of suspected stolen property, shoplifting, theft, rape, armed robbery, attempted theft of copper, malicious damage to property, child neglect, possession of a stolen vehicle, hijacking, illegal mining, illegal immigrants and being drunk in public.
Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines, some were released on warnings, some have appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court on their charges and others were sent to Lindela for deportation.
