Members of the Germiston SAPS mounted a stop-and-search operation in Germiston recently.
Four men were stopped and searched and the police found dagga on them.
“While the four men were being taken to the Germiston Police Station, the officers spotted a man selling drugs to another man,” said WO André de Jager, Germiston SAPS communications officer.
“Drugs were found during the search, as well as R600 in cash.
“All the men were detained in the Germiston Police Station’s holding cells and they were charged with being in possession of dagga, as well as dealing in drugs.”
All the men will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court, soon.
The station commander, Brig Samuel Thambo, would like to congratulate Consts Jacob Lebelo, Noko Mashaite, Takalane Mabirimisa, Alpheus Zungu, Eric Nkwana and Kenneth Ndou for their excellent police work.
