The Primrose police arrested a 20-year-old man recently,after a warrant of arrest was issued by the Roodepoort SAPS.
Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, informed the GCN that the man was arrested for indecent assault in 2007.
“He was released and warned to appear in court,” said Maome.
“He did not, however, go to court; maybe he thought he would run away from the law.
“We urge all crime suspects to note that Primrose is not a hiding spot for criminals; we will arrest all the known suspects and those who are harbouring them.”
The Primrose police have handed over the man to the Roodepoort SAPS.
