Dagga worth thousands discovered

The Primrose SAPS have arrested two men and confiscated dagga worth R90 000.

Dagga worth about R90 000 was confiscated by the Primrose SAPS, last Tuesday.

Along with the bust came the arrest of two men.

The men, aged 38 and 42, were travelling from KwaZulu-Natal to Isando in a truck.

The police were patrolling in Sector One at about 5am, last Tuesday, when they noticed the truck on Pretoria Road and stopped the driver.

They asked if they could search the vehicle and, hidden amongst the cargo, they discovered six black plastic bundles containing dagga.

The men were arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.

They are due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon, on a charge of possession of dagga.
