The Elsburg SAPS recently arrested a woman on charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and attempted murder.
The police were patrolling at about 5am, recently, in Sarel Hattingh Street, in Graceland, when they were stopped by man who informed them that his friend had allegedly been assaulted by woman, known to him, in Graceland.
The police rushed to the scene with the complainant and found that the victim had been stabbed three times in his upper body with a knife and was lying in pool of blood.
An ambulance was called and the victim was taken to hospital.
The Elsburg SAPS started investigating the case and this led to the arrest of a 22-year-old woman.
