Primrose police arrested three men, aged 25, 27 and 33, during a stop-and-search operation, in Primrose, recently.
The men were all arrested for the possession of dagga.
Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, said: “It is illegal to smoke dagga, and therefore we will keep arresting people who are found in the possession of it.
“It is the continued use of dagga that encourages our youth to commit crimes to get the money they need to afford such drugs.”
The three men appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
Two were released on a warning, while the third had to pay an admission of guilt fine before being released.
