The Primrose police had a very busy week from September 23 to September 29, with the arrest of 122 suspects.
The suspects were arrested in the Primrose area on various charges, including assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence, possession of dagga, rape, possession of suspected stolen property, trespassing, theft, attempted murder, murder, selling liquor without a licence, unlawful possession of precious metal, aiding a prisoner to escape, illegal immigration, as well being drunk and disorderly in public.
A number of suspects were detained at the Primrose Police Station, pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court, while those arrested on charges of being illegal immigrants, were transferred to Lindela, in Krugersdorp, from where they will be deported to their respective countries.
