The Primrose police recently arrested three “ladies of the night”, aged between 23 and 27.
All three women are charged with importuning with the purpose of illegal sexual immorality.
The arrests were made when patrolling officers noticed two women behaving immorally to passing motorists.
“The officers, while observing from a distance, saw the two women were lifting their clothes for the passing motorists,” said Const Styles Maome, communication officer for the Primrose police.
The officers arrested them and transported them to the Primrose Police Station.
The third suspect was arrested in Rietfontein Road, for a similar offence.
The three suspects were detained at the Primrose Police Station, pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
