Police teach children about safety

Police give children safety tips.

Germiston police officers visited the children at Teddy’s Nursery School, in Lambton, recently.

Const Queen Sibeko spoke to them about how to be safe.

She told them they mustn’t take sweets from strangers or talk to strangers, among other things.

Spokesman for the Germiston SAPS WO André  de Jager also spoke to the children about safety.

He told the children that they should not leave their homes alone and that they must be careful if they come across dangerous weapons.

He also told them they should always tell a trusted adult if anything is bothering them.

The children and staff enjoyed the day tremendously.
