Sector Three residents warned

Primrose Youth Crime Prevention Desk warns the public.

The Primrose police’s Youth Crime Prevention Desk took to the streets of Wychwood in Primrose Sector Three on October 23, to warn the local community to be alert.

They distributed safety tips, focusing on crimes that are affecting the area.

“As police, we are disturbed by the increase in theft, housebreaking, theft of motor vehicles and hijacking in this sector,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.

“We are still experiencing problems with community members parking their vehicles on the pavements in this sector.

“Sector Three used to be a quiet suburb, but now it has become a hot spot for crime.

“The Youth Crime Prevention Desk took it upon themselves to go out and warn the community.”
