A 35-year-old man was recently arrested on charges of dealing in and possession of an illegal substance, and resisting arrest.
The arrest was made by members of the EMPD K9 Unit, during an operation in the Primrose area.
The suspect was taken to the Primrose Police Station and will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
“The Primrose SAPS management, thank the members from the EMPD K9 Unit for the arrest; this is an indication that, together, we can fight crime in Primrose,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police .
“The Primrose SAPS and the EMPD will continue to work together to make Primrose one of the safest areas in which to live.”
