Members of Germiston SAPS recently arrested three men after a tip-off that they were illegally copying DVDs in Gordon Street, Delville.
The police officers went to the house and found the three suspects busy copying DVDs.
The men, aged 30, 25 and 31, were arrested and detained at the Germiston Police Station by Consts Dumisani Mdabula, Emmanuel Maake, Tebogo Choung, Harris Chiloane and Johannah Mabokela.
All the equipment they used to copy the DVDs and 3 400 already copied discs were handed in as exhibits.
The street value of all the DVDs is about R30 000.
“The officers were praised for their good work,” said WO André de Jager.
