Fund takes a leap

Donate to the animals today.

The Germiston SPCA’s Christmas Cheer Fund has taken a huge leap.

Laurence Kingston, manager of the Germiston SPCA, is delighted with the response to the fund so far.

The fund is currently sitting on R18 206.50.

With the festive season approaching fast, much more is needed to make sure the animals in the SPCA’s care are able to eat and be looked after.

At this time of year, more and more animals find themselves abandoned or roaming the streets as strays.

This is where the SPCA steps in to provide these desperate animals with shelter and food.

But, in order to do this, the society needs funds.

The fund will run until the end of January and all the money raised will go towards the care of abused, abandoned and stray animals over the festive period.

All donations will be acknowledged in the GCN on a weekly basis.

It is so easy to help.

All you need to do is make a donation, big or small, it doesn’t matter, as every cent helps.

When making your donation, please give your first name and surname, so that you can be thanked properly in the GCN.

Donations can be made at the Germiston SPCA’s kennels, in Junction Road, Driehoek.
