Man nabbed for housebreaking

The Primrose police have arrested a man for housebreaking in Marlands.

The Primrose police recently arrested a 28-year-old man on a charge of housebreaking.

He was nabbed after the police received a complaint that there had been a housebreaking in Dally Road, Marlands.

Upon arrival at the scene, the complainant (who is a pensioner), informed the police that there was an unknown man in her house.

“Our police tactically entered the house and found the man.

“He informed the police that he had forced a window open to gain entry and he had not expected to find anyone at home,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.

The man’s hand was bleeding and the police asked him why and he said it got cut when he forced the window open.

He was arrested.
