A 30-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose SAPS for possession of stolen property.
The arrest took place after officers on a routine patrol spotted the man carrying a black plasma TV towards a shack in the Delport informal settlement.
They approached him and asked him where he got the television from and to show them proof of purchase.
He could not tell them where he got the TV from and did not have a receipt.
“Our police arrested him for possession of suspected stolen property and he was arrested,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.
