Two men were recently arrested on charges of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both arrests were made in the Makause informal settlement following a woman’s report of two separate counts of assault.
The first account of assault was when a man approached the woman and demanded to sleep with her.
The woman refused and that is when the man attacked her.
The second assault happened when the woman was at home.
She heard a knock on the door, when she opened the door a second man stabbed her in the upper body with a sharp object.
The man ran away without saying a word.
Primrose police officers were able to track down both men and arrest them.
The men appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where their case was postponed for trail.
