Tributes pour in for Christiaan

The GCN has received numerous comments regarding the death of Christiaan Theunissen.

Many people sent their condolences to the family and wished them strength during their time of grief.

Some of the comments are:

• Sheila Lewis: “Our deepest condolences to Pieter and Hester. My boys played rugby at school with Christiaan’s brothers. Christiaan was a boy with a beautiful personality. To the two brothers and sister: for you it is also a very difficult time. I can only pray that you have the strength for this very difficult time.”

• Renaldo, Brandon, Clinton and Frans: “Christiaan was ‘n goeie mens en rugbyspeler. Ons onthou hom as ‘n hero.”

• Michelle Behr: “Condolences to Pieter and Hester. Christiaan was a responsible sensible child. I’m sorry to Pieter and Hester, an absolute star was taken away from our community.”

• Tania: “This is totally out of control. We cannot be losing our precious children this way. My condolences to the boy’s parents, family and friends, may they find comfort knowing he has gone to a better place.”

• Johnny Nell: “We are going to miss our friend Chris. Wish he could come back; we need you in our rugby team.”
