An alleged robber was nabbed by an SWS Security reaction officer, last Tuesday.
At about 10am, the control room received a panic signal from one of their clients in Castleview.
Reaction officer Morné Wittstock was dispatched to the premises and, upon his arrival, the client told him that there was a suspected robber on the neighbour’s premises.
Wittstock jumped over the wall into the neighbour’s yard and found the suspect with all the stolen goods (a gate rail, stainless steel and a toilet bowl).
He arrested the man and handed him over to the Germiston SAPS when they arrived on the scene.
