A 31-year-old man was recently arrested by Primrose police on charges of rape.
The arrest was made when the victim came into the Primrose Police Station to lay a charge of rape against her aunt’s boyfriend.
The victim explained that she had gone to visit her aunt for the evening.
During the visit her aunt and her boyfriend had started to fight.
“Because of the fight the victim’s aunt decided to go to bed; the victim was left alone with her aunt’s boyfriend and it was then that the rape took place,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
Officers were able to arrest the man.
