Police arrest 50

The Primrose police had a busy week, from May 19 to 25, with the arrest of 50 people, for various crimes, in the Primrose area.

The offences were:

•  assault GBH 4;

•  common assault 1;

•  driving under the influence 6;

•  malicious damage to property 1;

•  theft 4;

•  bribery 1;

•  rape 3;

•  drunk in public 10;

•  illegal gambling 1;

•  murder 1;

•  soliciting/importuning for the purpose of sexual immorality 2;

•  selling liquor without a licence 1;

•  resisting arrest 1;

•  dealing in drugs 1;

•  possession of drugs 7;

•  interfering with official police duties 1;

•  fraud 1;

•  common robbery 1;

•  illegal immigrants 3.
