Be aware says CPF

CPF asks community to be on the lookout.

The Primrose CPF is asking the community to be aware of the following:

  •  In Sunnyridge:

A resident was recently followed by a white Volkswagen Polo.

The vehicle’s occupants, two men, followed her for some time, till she stopped outside her home.

They then held her at gunpoint and demanded jewellery and other valuables before speeding off.

Be aware of your surroundings and take note of suspicious-looking vehicles.

  •  In Germiston

Hijackers have a new method to get close to their victims.

The CPF asks the community to be aware of this.

It has been reported that when vehicles leave parking areas another vehicle passes and shows the driver a number plate.

“The men will claim it has fallen off your vehicle and when you stop to collect it they hijack you,” said Wendy Morgan.
