Sunlight Dish Washing Liquid recently embarked on the 30 000 Challenge.
This challenge sees Sunlight representatives travelling around the country and attempting to clean 30 000 plates with just one 750ml bottle of the dish washing liquid.
The question is: how do you dirty 30 000 plates?
The answer is: through the company’s community feeding outreach, which is taking place in different provinces throughout South Africa.
One such outreach took place at the NG Kerk Cachet, in Thistle Street, Primrose, from Friday, July 18, to Sunday, July 20.
The aim of the weekend was to feed as many community members as possible.
There was no limit to how many times a person could eat, the only condition was that they had to hand over their dirty plate and receive a new one, so that officials could keep an official record of all plates used and cleaned.
Can it really be done?
Can Sunlight really achieve this amazing feat?
Only time will tell.
