The Primrose police arrested 37 suspects during the week July 21 to 27.
The accused were arrested for various crimes in the area:
- Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 1
- Domestic violence: 1
- Common robbery: 1
- Business robbery: 1
- Driving under the influence: 14
- Theft: 5
- Theft under false pretence: 1
- Drunk and disorderly in public: 8
- Soliciting/importuning for the purpose of sexual immorality: 2
- Selling liquor without a licence: 1
- Possession of drugs: 3
- Shoplifting: 2
- Possession of suspected stolen property: 1
- Illegal immigrants: 8.
“These arrests show our continued commitment to making Primrose a safer place,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer of the Primrose police.
