Young woman allegedly breaks into shack

Woman nabbed for housebreaking and theft by the Primrose SAPS.

The Primrose police recently arrested a 20-year-old woman on charges of housebreaking and theft.

The incident took place in the Makause informal settlement.

The complainant alleged that when she left her home she locked it.

Inside her shack she had a stock of food and vegetables which she sells for a living.

The victim’s friend said that she saw someone breaking into the victim’s shack and stealing the food, so she immediately telephoned her.

The complainant called the police and the suspect was traced and arrested.

The woman appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and the case was postponed for plea and trial.
